Who here never spent minutes, hours and days playing a good shotter game? Well, my fave one is the classic Tyrian. It is probably the best shotter I ever saw. However, it was forgot behind. Recently I found a site that keeps this Abandonware and the two unreleased versions of this game, Tyrian 2000 for GBA (Which is a crap because several failures) and Tyrian 2000 GB/GBC (In GBC it is full color, but is cool to play on GB :) ). I highly recommend you to get the PC version and the GBC version (The GBC version was never released or announced. Was trashed nearly the completion [somewhat aroun 99%]). The site that I found is down there:

Have fun! :)

I love Tyrian, its one of the best shmups ever to be released.

When I discovered abandonware, I went on a spree.  This was one of the games I got.  It has a ton of replayability with its upgradeable ships, branching levels, and the Super Arcade Mode.  I loved playing around with the different ships, the Carrotship is perhaps my favorite.

I also have a little fun in the DESTRUCT turret game and have yet to beat Tyrian on the Impossible bonus difficulty.
