C-Dogs

This game is pretty fun. You select a campaign, you can customize your character, and pick what weapons you would like to equip yourself with. Then, you go through missions to beat the campaign. This game also has 2-player mode, and Dogfight mode. It's really fun.

Also, you can make your own campaigns. Unfortunately, the site for the campaign builder is down, as well as the official site for C-Dogs. But I'm sure I could assist you, if you wanted to make your own campaigns. Or, you can search for documentation online  :nerd:

Here is the link to get C-Dogs:

If you want sound, you may want to get VDMSound.

Update (4/30/08): C-Dogs SDL is a port of C-Dogs to modern operating systems. With this, you won't even *need* DOSBox or VDMSound. Wish I could say the same about the campaign editor, though.

Screenshot is attached now. So you can see what the game looks like.

Buy me a coffee!

dreams are as portals, flat visions of misty places, fragments bound below my surface.
but i can write dreams, they flow from me, inscribed yet now unbound. i touch them, and they are real....and they are real.

I have gotten access to the Campaign Editor readme. - I have copied it to a text document, so you can get to it if you need it, and in case the website is "down" again.

http://www.kitsuneparadise.com/abandonware...aign_editor.txt ( right click, and choose "Save Link As" )

I would recommend it, as I remember going through hell trying to make this game work in 98se.

Bumping, because I can. Also, a couple finds.

I found a better written editor tutorial over here.

There is also C-Dogs SDL, a port of C-Dogs to modern operating systems. Here's a direct link to the project page. As you can see, there have been ports to *many* other systems, including Nintendo DS.

It seems to be a very good port, and is worth checking out.
